Optilux 507® Enhanced Reflective Plastisol
International Coatings Optilux 507® Reflective Plastisol is a two part printable reflective plastisol ink that contains both reflective microspheres as well as metallic flakes. This unique ink will appear as a standard metallic silver shimmer in normal light, but will reflect a directed light, such as a motor vehicle or torch light, back at the source.
The Optilux® Reflective Ink is supplied as a two part system (Part A) The Optilux 507® Reflective, and (Part B) Optilux Coupler 100.
The Coupler should be mixed into the Reflective base at 5% by weight, this will ensure best wash resistance when cured at 160°C. *NB: Shelf life of mixed production batches once Coupler100 is mixed into the ink is 8 hours. Any product older than 8 hours should not be used again.
Ink should be thoroughly stirred prior to printing or mixing as this ink can settle during storage of standing during printing.
This ink is designed to be used on cotton or cotton/poly bends and not suitable to print on Nylon. This ink is ready to use as supplied after the addition of Coupler 100 at 5% and should not be modified with reducers or thickeners. Reflectivity will be impaired if other additives are added.

Mesh Selection
For best results use 32T or 43T mesh.
Clean-up
Any plastisol cleaner such as Easisolv 842, Easisolv 701 or Franmar Plastisol Cleaner.
Always test production batches prior to printing.
