Spot On Stencil Strip
A liquid screen emulsion remover concentrate that can be diluted at a maximum of 1:25. This product can be sprayed on using a spray bottle once diluted and scrubbed onto both sides of the screen. For a stronger solution this can be mixed at 1:15 or stronger if preferred.
To apply: Clean off all excess ink and remove all screen tape to prepare screen for decoating. Scrub on Spot On emulsion remover to both sides of the screen and allow to stand for 10 minutes – Do not allow the product to dry. Use a jet wash to remove the softened emulsion.
Step By Step Reclaiming A Screen With Spot On
Step 1 – Emulsion removal.
Product: Spot On Stencil Strip or Spot on stencil strip gel
Step 2 – Ghost image removal. (if required)
Product: Spot On De Haze
Step 3 – Degrease.
Product: Spot on Degreaser
Note: For new screens being prepared for coating for the first time, Spot On New Mesh Prep is advised to prepare the screen prior to coating.
