Description
Amex Bi-Epoxy is a 2 part solvent based ink system for printing onto a wide range of rigid substrates such as metal, aluminium, glass, polypropylene and wood. Ink must be catalysed using 25% of the bi-epoxy catalyst (to be purchased separately HERE).Once catalyst is added to the ink please use within 8 hours – it does not keep overnight.
To thin the product, please add Amex Reducer/Thinner 202 up to 15%
This ink has a high opacity and is exceptionally smooth to print with a gloss finish. It is a quick drying ink which can be air dried and has good resistance to weather and UV in an outdoor environment up to 12-18 months depending on substrate being printed. Ink can also be fully cured using an oven at 150c for 20-30 minutes.
Best results are achieved using a 90T mesh, and clean up is best using a screen wash or Easiway 140.
Reducers and retarders are also available for bi-epoxy inks.
