Texprint retarder or TEXPRINT RITARDANTE GEL 1kg (technical Italian name) is used to slow the drying of water base ink into the screen, Meaning you can leave the ink flooded for a longer period of time. Really useful in hot print shops. Add up to 5% of the retarder into your pot of ink.

Printing
To obtain best results use decent tension screens 34T/(80) to 90T/(230) both for manual printing and automatic presses – best results with a sharp squeegee blade.

Clean up
Please use Water or Franmar Aquawash or Multipurpose Ink Remover. Easisolv 701 is useful to clean up and remove stains.
Curing
Water Based Inks are cured at 165°C ideally for 2-3 minutes. Printed garments need to be passed through a quality dryer and the ink film needs to reach the desired temperature and maintained for a fixed time, variables such as garment thickness and colour, ink deposit and operating climate will need to be taken into account when setting your oven parameters. Always wash test production to ensure prints are adequately cured.
