KIWOBOND 1100 PowerGrip (4.25KG) is a premium two-component adhesive designed for bonding all mesh types to aluminium, steel, galvanised and wooden frames. How to Apply

1. Prepare the Frame

• Ensure the frame is clean, dry and free of grease or residue.

• Aluminium: lightly abrade and degrease.

• Wood: ensure the surface is smooth and dry.

2. Mixing

• Mix KIWOBOND 1100 PowerGrip with KIWODUR 1100 PowerGrip Hardener (sold separately).

• Stir thoroughly until fully uniform.

• Only prepare what you will use immediately—activated adhesive has a limited pot life.

3. Apply the Adhesive

• Brush a thin, even layer onto the bonding area of the frame.

• Lay the mesh into place while under tension.

• Optional: brush a small amount through the mesh along the frame edge for maximum bonding strength.

4. Dry & Cure

• Allow to dry until tack-free (approx. 5–10 minutes).

• Release from the stretching unit once set.

• Full chemical resistance develops after full curing (several hours).

5. Clean Up

• Clean brushes and tools immediately using suitable solvents.
